How the journey works.
Step by step, milestones turn training into performance.
The Competitive Golf Journey builds on the foundation of the Beginner program with developing intermediate players. Each stage sharpens swing mechanics, expands short game skills, and layers in tournament awareness. Progress is marked with testing, feedback, and goal-setting so players see their growth clearly.
Levels focus on refining mechanics & adding advanced shots
Progress milestones celebrate effort & achievement
Tournament prep gives purpose to every skill learned
Clear path forward into the Elite Mountain Lions
How GGA builds competitors.
Keep practice varied, keep them sharp.
Every zone builds
a different skill.
Juniors rotate through bays, the short game area, gym, and classroom space. They’ll work on swing adjustments, scoring shots, strength training, and golf knowledge. Variety keeps training challenging and ensures complete development across every part of the game.
Competition prep in motion.
Smart tools, real feedback.
See it, feel it,
refine it.
At this stage, players lean into data and feedback. Coaches combine proven training aids with video review and launch monitors to pinpoint faults and track improvement. Players connect swing changes to ball flight, distance control, and competitive goals.
Feedback that fuels progress.
Coaching built for competitors.
Small groups make
a big impact.
Sessions are capped at a 6:1 ratio, giving each Roadrunner individual attention while still learning in a team setting. Coaches deliver targeted drills, custom cues, and corrections designed to improve personal swings and competitive mindset.
Small squads mean big breakthroughs.
Building resilience as well as skill.
Skills for the course
& competition.
Golf is as much mental as physical. We focus on concentration routines, self-talk, and sportsmanship. Juniors practice how to manage nerves, recover from mistakes, and stay composed in tournament settings.
Mental toughness is the real competitive edge.
Confidence makes competition fun.
Where challenges fuel
the love of golf.
Competition is introduced through games, skills tests, and mock events. Players love the challenge—and they leave sessions motivated to practice more, set goals, and prepare for the next stage in their golf journey.
When the games are good, the grind feels easy.
Covering every part of the game.
Fundamentals we teach
every player.
Advanced Short Game
Players sharpen the scoring shots—from bunker to wedge play—that turn pars into birdies. It’s about creativity, touch, and building confidence from every lie around the green.
Full Swing & Fitness
Coaches guide players through fixing swing faults while building strength and mobility that support consistency. Video and data help, but it’s the hands-on feedback that turns adjustments into lasting results.
Rules, Terms & Etiquette
We focus on the rules that matter most in real play—penalties, scoring, relief, and pace—so juniors know how to handle competition with confidence and respect.
On-Course Strategy & Tournament Prep
Juniors learn to think like competitors: picking smart targets, managing risk, and staying composed under pressure. It’s where practice meets performance.
