Meet Chris Leppard
Chris Leppard is a patient, hands-on coach who has spent more than a decade helping golfers across Las Vegas build confidence and consistency in their game. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, he brings a calm, approachable style that connects especially well with juniors and beginners.
Chris has taught at Las Vegas Country Club, Red Rock Country Club, and Bear’s Best Las Vegas, where he’s known for making lessons simple, positive, and fun. His focus at GGA is on helping players develop strong fundamentals, learn to love practice, and enjoy every moment they spend improving.
How his journey began.
From early swings in Oregon to growing the game in Las Vegas.
Chris first picked up a club at just four years old while on a family trip to Utah, and the game quickly became a lifelong bond with his dad. After competing through high school in Eugene and playing in local tournaments, he decided to pursue coaching full-time—a path that allowed him to share the same love of the game that shaped his own life.
Since moving to Las Vegas, Chris has built a reputation as one of the area’s most dedicated junior coaches. With more than 12 years of experience and time spent in the UNLV Professional Golf Management program, he’s passionate about introducing new players to the sport and helping them grow through patience, structure, and encouragement.

He works best in an environment where players can relax, ask questions, and learn by doing. Whether it’s a junior picking up a club for the first time or an adult rediscovering the game, Chris aims to make every session feel positive, productive, and enjoyable.
