Meet Tilly Gretsch
Tilly Gretsch is the Founder and visionary behind Gretsch Golf Academy. A PGA Professional trained under legendary coach Butch Harmon, Tilly brings a championship pedigree, a process-driven teaching philosophy, and a deep belief that golf instruction should develop both skill and character.
After years coaching at the Butch Harmon School of Golf, Tilly saw an opportunity to reimagine player development in Las Vegas — creating a place that blends tour-level methodology with genuine care, community, and access for everyone. That vision became Gretsch Golf Academy, a home for players who want to improve from the inside out.
How her journey began.
From Minnesota roots to redefining
golf in Las Vegas.
Growing up in a small golf community in Minnesota, Tilly learned early that golf was as much about people as it was about performance. That culture of respect, warmth, and integrity — what she calls “Minnesota Nice” — became the foundation for how she teaches today.
Her professional journey began with collegiate competition at the University of Minnesota, where early success was cut short by a series of shoulder injuries that ended her playing career. Though it sidelined her from competitive golf, it became the turning point that directed her toward teaching — and ultimately, her purpose.
That path led her to the Butch Harmon School of Golf, where she trained alongside and learned from some of the game’s most respected minds. Working within that environment shaped her understanding of what great coaching can do — not just for swings, but for people.
When she launched GGA, Tilly set out to build more than an indoor facility. She envisioned a space that could serve every type of player — from juniors just starting out, to adults rebuilding their game, to professionals refining their edge — all guided by the same thoughtful process and genuine care.

Coaching Philosophy
Tilly’s teaching is anchored in her signature “Trust the Process” methodology — a structured, long-term approach that helps players set clear goals and achieve sustainable improvement. Every student starts with where they are now and maps a pathway toward where they want to go — 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, even 5 years out.
“We have a method for how we teach. It’s a series of steps. Sometimes you have to take a few steps back to go forward, but when you do, the results last.”
Tilly understands that every player brings more than a golf swing to the lesson tee. Life, work, and stress all influence how we show up on the course. Her coaching meets players where they are—helping them quiet distractions, rebuild confidence, and find a mindset that supports progress both on and off the course.
