Position Overview

The Bay Attendant plays a key role at GGA by delivering outstanding customer service and operational support throughout the facility. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for golf, hospitality, or customer experience. Bay Attendants assist with customer check-ins, manage reservations, support equipment setup, provide retail assistance, and help maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Facility Support

  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional atmosphere throughout the facility.
  • Provide cross-functional support by assisting departments with daily operations and promoting seamless coordination across teams.
  • Help clean, organize, and reset spaces to uphold a high standard of presentation and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Enforce safety and security protocols to protect the facility, equipment, and all occupants, ensuring a safe and professional environment at all times.

Customer Service & Front Desk Support

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in for reservations and services.
  • Manage bookings, appointments, and guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and through digital platforms.
  • Assist guests with check-out and schedule follow-up appointments to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Keep the front desk and common areas clean, organized, and inviting.
  • Help monitor the facility to ensure a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for all guests.

Retail Support

  • Assist customers with product inquiries, placing custom orders, and addressing other retail-related needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized retail area by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and neatly folding merchandise.
  • Process sales transactions through the POS system, including handling payments, issuing receipts, and resolving related inquiries.

Bay & Equipment Support

  • Prepare golf bays for each reservation by verifying simulator and camera functionality, organizing training aids, ensuring cleanliness, and addressing any technical issues promptly.
  • Support instructors by setting up training aids and equipment in advance of lessons, ensuring all materials are ready and easily accessible.
  • Assist customers with the use of bay technology and training tools by offering guidance, troubleshooting, and proactive support to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Perform routine equipment checks to verify proper operation and promptly report any issues or malfunctions.

Putting & Chipping Area Support

  • Monitor the putting and chipping area to ensure customer safety and adherence to facility guidelines.
  • Assist customers in using the short game area by answering questions, providing guidance, and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal condition and functionality.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest service and hospitality.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Capable of operating and troubleshooting golf simulators and related technology.
  • Basic understanding of golf fundamentals; prior experience in a golf setting is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform physical movements as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Work Schedule

Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate the facility’s operating hours and customer demand.
